We provide services as an Urgent Psychiatric center servicing common psychiatric emergencies and follow-up appointments to eliminate unnecessary ER and hospital admissions. We do not have an inpatient clinic. In many cases, patients may not meet the criteria per mobile crisis teams for inpatient admission and ERs do not address psychiatric conditions and substance abuse issues like the current opiate pandemic since they are not equipped to handle the mental health crisis. We accept referrals from the ERs, neighboring medical urgent care clinics, PCP offices, and the community, among others. We also refer out and work in collaboration with other healthcare providers to eliminate the long waitlist for patients’ healthcare needs; we provide multiple services in one location. Extremely valuable psychiatric inpatient assets are over-burdened with referrals that might be best supported with less intrusive, less expensive services and supports (SAMHSA). This is where AZITTS assists in member care. 

Our program is designed to eradicate barriers to primary care, as well as the difficulty in navigating complex healthcare systems, posing a major obstacle to individuals with behavioral and medical health disorders seeking treatment. AZITTS trained healthcare professionals are experts in their fields in treating the entire person and not just the symptoms of the disease.
